Job title: Case Management Team Leader
Location: Tewkesbury (hybrid working available)
Salary: £32-35k
Status: Full-time, permanent. Must be able to work shifts between 8am and 6pm.
Purpose of Role:
We have a new opportunity for a Case Management Team Leader to effectively lead, develop and motivate a team of case managers to deliver case management through the interpretation of possible reasons for ill health/injury. Ensuring the most appropriate intervention needed to reduce the risk of employee absence from work and the need for the employee to undertake modified duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the team establish the current reason(s) for ill health/injury and identify any underlying cause or contributory risk factors in case management
- Ensure case managers are able to effectively communicate to the employee the multifactorial issues associated with the current episode of ill health/injury and how they can personally address the risk factors within their locus of control
- Ensure case managers, where required access the most appropriate treatment intervention via the NHS or the private sector using the most effective method of funding applicable for the medical condition
- Ensure case managers help the customers - LM/HR/Health and Safety managers understand the implications of the assessment, and make clear the recommendations and likelihood of success and any associated cost without breaching the ICO requirements (processing of sensitive personal data)
- To achieve the critical success factors within the various aspects of case management including: reduction in sickness absence; reduction in modified duties; minimisation of any cost of third party suppliers, including the costs within the Healthcare Plans; prompt return to normal duties or where appropriate alternative duties or exit from the business; case closure to be agreed when resolution complete.

Experience delivering mental health support
Clinical case management or triage experience
Skills & Knowledge
Need to evidence ability to write clear and accurate English
Demonstrate confident telephone skills
Demonstrates analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications and Training
English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above
Degree level education or equivalent professional certification or extensive relevant experience
